Honda CBR-250 vs Kawasaki Ninja-250?

Hey, I'm posting this to clear up some questions and found out a bit more information. I'm 5'3 110, 16 years old. I'm looking to buy a little, cheap, first bike. I originally wanted a cruiser but, to be honest, most 250 cruisers don't look as nice as some 250 streets. Anyway I know that Ninja's are a big favorite, but reviews are mixed, the CBR's not as fast buy the throttle is crisp, while the Ninja's got more speed but a soggy reaction. I don't know how much of this is true and i was just hoping maybe you guyd could help me out. I'm obviously not looking for too much speed, seeing as I'm browsing around 250's and if you'd like to suggest a bike other than these two that's great, thanks.
