Ingrown toenails didn't go away with surgery, help?

I've had two surgeries, one was to burn off the skin around and the other was to remove a part of the toenail growth system with a lazor. The first treatmeant did nothing and the second worked for a few weeks and then the ingrowns were back. They are always filled with a smelly puss that oozes and has to be cleaned every day. Often there is bleeding. I need a remedy that will help them (I've tried cotton, tooth picks, ingrown filers, surgery, letting them grow until the skin falls off, soaking and ointments of every sort.)

Does this sound like a fun birthday party for a 14 yr old?

I'm turning 14 in exactly 2 months (YAY! :) ) and my idea is to invite 2 of my friends (Because I want a smaller bday). The invitations would be in the shape of a nail polish bottle with sparkles (I would make them because I love artsy stuff like that), and all the info would be on them of course. Then, when they came over, there would be a table set up with a bunch of decor and there would be a pile of different colored sandals on the ground. They get to pick whatever color they want, and then we would decorate them with flowers and sequence, etc. After they dry, we wear them to a nail salon and get our nails and toes painted. After, we come back to my house, have dinner, cake and ice cream, open presents, and then watch movies/play girly games. In the morning, we'd have a big breakfast, maybe go to Ihop/Denney's and then when they got picked up by their parents or when we drop them off, they'd get a jar of travel stuff. Like, a travel nail polish remover, a small nail polish, mini nail filer, a little nail clipper, and nail stickers. Sound fun? :)

Adoption tax credit moving a little faster than anticipated?

Well we sent ours in on Jan 31 paper the only way it would let you and around the 15th it said we would get it back march 22, Then it said we would be getting a letter wanting more info. After waiting weeks for this letter I got it today. Wow it said that they were reviewing it and if I don't hear from them in 45 days to call them. It said at this time they don't need any more info just reviewing it because of the adoption credit. Well I guess every one will be getting this letterCP05 so they can hold your money even longer. They will send your tax money without any of the Adoption credit and then make you wait. I still think it is to good to be true, I wish I knew even one person who has gotten the Adoption credit refund. It would make me feel better. But can't find any one saying it has happened yet.

I had Acrylic nails on about a month ago now. I let them grow out quite a bit and then took them off myself. Savers tax credit, I have no earned income so I cannot contribute to an IRA, is there anyway to get this?

I am on work mans comp and it looks like I would qualify for this credit this year on income amounts. Last year I found out that you cannot contribute to your IRA wthout EARNED INCOME. I am thinking that maybe I could make some kind of a non deductible IRA contribution of some sort??? Or anyone have another idea? It is really sad the FEDs will not let you make a contribution to an IRA if you are not actively at work. I have investment income and will pay taxes on that, but it is not considered earned income, even though I actively buy and sell stocks...I guess they think it is a TAXABLE HOBBY! Any ideas from you all are appreciated, I hate to leave tax credit unused. I converted part of an old IRA to ROTH Conversion this year, so I will have a large tax bill this year. How do i get rid of these mice?!?

So, about 3 weeks ago i was sitting on the floor in my room eating. Several times i noticed something in the corner of my eye black, moving fast. It came out and I realized it was a mouse. i freaked! did not catch it that night. The following day, I tore my room apart cleaning EVERYTHING and made it smell good with Murphy's oil soap. I found mouse droppings in a spot the mouse ran last night (under a dresser drawer) and I washed my sheets with extra fabric softeners. I found no mouse holes anywhere. I set 2 traps in my room, 3 in the kitchen, and 3 in the garage. I caught a total of 5 -_-. The other 3 traps are still laid out, I haven't seen or caught anymore since, and I've been spraying peppermint oil all over the house and my room. I never eat in my room any more and vaccuum/clean it once a week. There's not a crumb or spec of dirt anywhere in my room; is it safe to say the mice are gone, if not..what can anyone recommend?

Why is my whole body itching?

my whole body, especially stomach,back of thighs, and butt have insane itching. this just started up about a month ago when we switched fabric softeners in our laundry. we switched back and it went away for a week or so. last night they came back. my laundry has been washed with the normal fabric softener so it can't be that. i do take very hot showers, but my skin isn't dry. i used to have eczema when i was younger, but that now is only on my arm in stress. the cream that worked for that kind of works for my itching, but it doesn't stop it other than for a couple hours. (it is a pH fixer to make my skin less acidic). i'm 16, and this itching is driving me crazy, it's just normally one or two attacks a day, but i scratch myself raw and bloody because of it. i can't go to the doctor's for another 2 weeks because i'm leaving for camp soon and i need an idea of WHAT it is and anything that can help

Ok So my male and female Koi fish are both best buddys they stick by each other through thick and thin and don't like to leave each other but this morning i woke up because i heard splaching at the top of the water and though my fish were just being annoying so i tried to ignore it but when it kept happening i got up and added a little more water to the fish tank to shut it up and quiet my filter because i don't like hearing the water at night. I was doing research because i though that there might be something wrong with them and i found that in breeding times the male will chase the female. Ok that's what seems to be happening with mine but i don't see any eggs and it's winter time plus they are both still eating so i don't think they're sick but i don't like him chacing her until she tries to get away from him at the top of the water and hetting herself on something to get away. she is realy pretty so i know how she looks but watching them i noticed in the time it took me to go from one side of my house to the other she is ow missing scales because he will whace her into a corner and when she goes up to get away this particular corner has the filter in it so she scrapes against the filer to try to get away. she is about 7 1/2'' long and about 5'' wide and he is about 7'' long and 3-4'' wide. as you can see they are small but that can be atributes to living in a tank so they wont get any bigger and they are about 3 years old more or less. Help please and no i can't get a pond where i live it's not possible at the moment

Hello, I was wondering if there is a silk-like fabric that is durable enough to be used in making a martial arts uniform. I know regular silk snags, so the uniform would eventually look like crap, so is there a highly durable weave of silk that won't unravel or snag? If so where can I get it. So i started seeing these bring flashes of light, way quicker than a second, it happened one day. I thought nothing of it, maybe i was trippin. another day it happened two times in a row, i definitely noticed it. I kno when im looking at something then suddenly a completely different image flashes before my eyes. i didnt see a visual picture just bright bright light. So them i started looking it up, i couldn't find anything really on the subject. So if you have some info on it I'd appreciate it On that note has anyone ever just looked at the fabric of space? but to look at thge fabric of space is to look at nothing, its hard to explain, you have to look threw nothing instead of look at nothing. ive also start seeing these tiny white lights today.. i cant see them anywhere else except when i look at the sky in the day time. again its when i try to look at that fabric again. but they are kind a big in size and sorta fly around, i know what floaters are and its not them. floaters are kind a grayish and odd looking all of these lights are the same size and move in the same pattern just in different directions, for a split second then they disappear. but the thing is, they're is never less of them some always show up in different places but the ones i focus on vanish.

Cuckoo catfish antics question?

i have a cuckoo catfish in a 40 gallon tank. his/her tank mates are 3 diamond tetras, a peacock eel, 3 upside down cats and a baby red tail shark. The cat fish has more than enough room to swim and is ignored by all the fish. how ever instead of swimming around the middle of the tank like my LCF said it would it hides under a leaf for about two seconds, swims vertically up the side of the wall parallel to the waters surface, around the filer bar ( a loop de loop) then back down the other wall and then back under the leaf and does it all over again. Is this dangerous for the fish?

African dwarf frog died?

We purchased four adf on Friday. This morning I wake up to one dead. I have noticed they aren't eating very much or not at all because I can't tell the differance between them. 2/14/11 delayed filers get a real DD date?

I filed on 2/14/11 and accepted on 2/15/11 and was given a 3/1/11 generic date, and so I think I should get it by 2/25/11 due to the IRS giving it a few extra days to deposit into the bank. I play guitar at least three or four hours a day, and my fingertips are always ripped from thin torn calluses. Guitarists will know what I am talking about. My calluses are hard and comfortable, but I hate the rough feel they have because of the ripped layers I get after playing for an extended period. Any suggestions? My acrylic nails fell off after 3 days?

ok, so i went to nail salon on friday afternoon and got a full set of acrylic nails done for prom, and they fell off tonight (monday). prom already happened so it's not a super huge deal, but i'm still mad because i paid 35$ for them, and they should not have fallen off in 3 days. when i went to the salon to get them, i didn't have a terrible time, but it wasn't the best. the guy who did it had really sweaty hands, and he didn't use a buffer or anything after he applied the acrylic. i've gotten acrylics many times before so i'm well aware of the procedure. i know that once the acrylic is applied they use the electric metal filer thing, and the square buffers. he didn't use either of these. he just filed the very tips of them to be straight. i looked it up online, and the only two reasons i could find for why they would fall off are either that the nail tech did it incorrectly, or it's my nails. like i said, i've had acrylics before and never had any problems like this before, and the guy told me i had really healthy nails, so i know it's not my nails. anyways, i noticed on sunday that they were starting to lift off at the part near bottom of my nails, and most of them just came off in one piece. as an after thought i kept the pieces i could find. can i go back to the salon tomorrow with my receipt and the few pieces i have, explain it to them, and have them re do them for free?

Jeep Liberty issues Help?

2002 jeep liberty 3.7L V6. Never had any problems with it regular maintance is always done. Went to go start it after parking it for only 30minutes and it hesitated to start but then started. Well then before I could get out of the parking lot it died again and wouldn't start. We were in a hurry to leave so we just left it and took my husbands car. Well now we have replaced the fuel filer because it was acting like it was starved for fuel. Well that didn't work so we replaced the crank shaft sensor, and spark plugs. Dip stick came up dry for some reason so we did a oil change, although we realized there was oil in it. Well now it wont really start. It has power lights come on power doors, windows work but when you go to turn it over it clicks once and looses all power. Well the battery is 3 months old. So we ran a at home diagnosis on it and it came back as the 02 sensors once even though we ran the test several times. It came back as bank 2 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 2. Well we have had several opinions on it and we think it could possibly be the ignition coils, 02 Sensors and the starter and the alternator. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on what it may be, just to get some more opinions.Also I forgot to mention after starting it after if first died it has a REALLY rough idle at 700-800rpms and makes a very loud noise, both of which haven't gotten any better. Even better when you hit throttle down at 3000rpms car would be fine but as soon as you release the gas pedal the car dies. Thanks

2002 jeep liberty issues?

2002 jeep liberty 3.7L V6. Never had any problems with it regular maintance is always done. Went to go start it after parking it for only 30minutes and it hesitated to start but then started. Well then before I could get out of the parking lot it died again and wouldn't start. We were in a hurry to leave so we just left it and took my husbands car. Well now we have replaced the fuel filer because it was acting like it was starved for fuel. Well that didn't work so we replaced the crank shaft sensor, and spark plugs. Dip stick came up dry for some reason so we did a oil change, although we realized there was oil in it. Well now it wont really start. It has power lights come on power doors, windows work but when you go to turn it over it clicks once and looses all power. Well the battery is 3 months old. So we ran a at home diagnosis on it and it came back as the 02 sensors once even though we ran the test several times. It came back as bank 2 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 2. Well we have had several opinions on it and we think it could possibly be the ignition coils, 02 Sensors and the starter and the alternator. I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas on what it may be, just to get some more opinions. Thanks

Cloth or fleece can work but needs to be changed out every other day, also some rats will rip it up an use it in their beds. Carpet does not work because it absorbs urine and can't be washed. By shelves do you mean shelf cages? If yes than I have read they do very well, and apparently don't chew through the wood. But you must put lino or fleece or towels or something on the wood.

My 2005 Nissan Altima will run rough mainly in the morning then run smooth?

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima 4 cyl Manual transmission...It runs extremely rough and the Service engine soon light turns on...I can drive it but it feels like it will stall. Two years ago, I had warts and as they spread they got worse. They were so deep, I had to get them surgically removed. i recently bought a 10 gallon tank and plan on transferring my betta and ghost shrimp from his 2 gallon tank and I am currently cycling the 10 gallon.I also have everything set up;plants, filer,and heater. so i was wondering if i could put anything else in there, i was thinking some small schooling fish (tetras, platys,zebra danios, ect.) and/or 2 african dwarf frogs(or anything else that can live with a betta and is easy to care for).I didn't know if i might be over stocking or if some of these fish aren't compatible. i really appreciate all the help guys.

Why is my skin unbearably itchy?

my whole body, especially stomach,back of thighs, and butt have insane itching. this just started up about a month ago when we switched fabric softeners in our laundry. we switched back and it went away for a week or so. last night they came back. my laundry has been washed with the normal fabric softener so it can't be that. i do take very hot showers, but my skin isn't dry. i used to have eczema when i was younger, but that now is only on my arm in stress. the cream that worked for that kind of works for my itching, but it doesn't stop it other than for a couple hours. (it is a pH fixer to make my skin less acidic). i'm 16, and this itching is driving me crazy, it's just normally one or two attacks a day, but i scratch myself raw and bloody because of it. i can't go to the doctor's for another 2 weeks because i'm leaving for camp soon and i need an idea of WHAT it is and anything that can help

How to you clean up the overflow from the oil filter in a Toyota 4runner (v6)?

The 2004 Toyota 4runner (v6) oil filter is located where you can access it from under the hood, not from under the car like most. The filter has this little cup type thing around that catches the oil when you take the old filer off....but then you are left with this huge cup of oil! Is there a plug under it or something do you can then drain the cup? Or are you just supposed to sop it up with rags (which I ended up doing)?
