My acrylic nails fell off after 3 days?

ok, so i went to nail salon on friday afternoon and got a full set of acrylic nails done for prom, and they fell off tonight (monday). prom already happened so it's not a super huge deal, but i'm still mad because i paid 35$ for them, and they should not have fallen off in 3 days. when i went to the salon to get them, i didn't have a terrible time, but it wasn't the best. the guy who did it had really sweaty hands, and he didn't use a buffer or anything after he applied the acrylic. i've gotten acrylics many times before so i'm well aware of the procedure. i know that once the acrylic is applied they use the electric metal filer thing, and the square buffers. he didn't use either of these. he just filed the very tips of them to be straight. i looked it up online, and the only two reasons i could find for why they would fall off are either that the nail tech did it incorrectly, or it's my nails. like i said, i've had acrylics before and never had any problems like this before, and the guy told me i had really healthy nails, so i know it's not my nails. anyways, i noticed on sunday that they were starting to lift off at the part near bottom of my nails, and most of them just came off in one piece. as an after thought i kept the pieces i could find. can i go back to the salon tomorrow with my receipt and the few pieces i have, explain it to them, and have them re do them for free?
