I am a first time filer?! Help?

okay i filed my taxes on the 9th.. Got accepted on the 17th. Got an update on wmr site stating i they recieved the return and its being processed and had feb 1st date.. So that date passed and i got a reference code of 1301. I called the irs and the agent said they had no info?. So with me being a first time filer does it take longer to process? How long? I opted for my check to be mailed. Can sumone let me know how long more be4 i receive refund. Thanks in advance
