Why do guyd want to kiss girls so much?

So whats the reason a guy tries so hard to kiss a girl? i mean they will hug her cuddle with her look into her eyes and tell her she's pretty and that stuff. all because he wants to kiss her. Im talking about maybe a guy trying to hookup with a girl not between a couple or 2 ppl who like eachother.
