Cat onwers..Why does my cat do this?

My cat for some reason likes the smell and taste of a nail filer...I know tht's weird but my cat was sleeping on my bed and then I started to file my nails and my cat just started like attacking the nail filer and biting it and rubbing it's head against it....do any of your cats do this?? and if you might know why??
